Zoocobia Fun Zoo: Bringing a Sense of Harmony with Man and Nature

Image
We arrived as a team of bloggers with one companion each. I brought along my son with me who's at first timer at Zoocobia Fun Zoo in Clark, Pampanga. This will be my second time at Zoocobia but still I hunger for more fun, adventure, and knowledge that it can share with us.  But before we headed to the real thing, we had our lunch first and were given sometime to relax and rest before we proceeded to the tour prepared for us. After our sumptuous lunch, my son asked me if we can make a quick trip inside the Animal Bone and Skin Museum. I bet the kids will be in awe when they see this just like what my son felt.  Finally, we were gathered by our tour guide near the entrance as the tour was about to begi...

A Day of Pampering at Shimmian Manila

Image
I got incredibly lucky—imagine being invited for a free treatment at one of the most trusted aesthetic centers in the Philippines: Shimmian Manila Surgicenter.  Together with a group of fellow bloggers, I had the amazing opportunity to experience their wide range of services—completely free of charge.    Of course, I said yes right away. I mean, who would turn down an invitation like that? Honestly, it felt like a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to walk into a top-tier skin clinic and finally treat myself to some much-needed pampering—and this was the perfect chance!    They let us chose from any of their services, so I thought why not have RF Eyebag removal and Brightening Facial with Power Peel because my skin looks dull and my eyebags were bulging, a result from staying up late at night and being exposed to the computer's radiation.    I honestly couldn’t tell you how long the procedures took—time just flew by. But I didn’t ...

Hero Foundation: Saludo Kami Sa Inyo

Image
On their 25th year anniversary, the HERO Foundation held a concert last October 22, 2013 at Glorietta Activity Center to commemorate the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our country and to give thanks to the heroes who have helped their children pursue their dreams in life. Among the artist who graced the concert were Chad Borja, Mark Bautista, Princess Velasco, John Lesaca, and a lot more. HERO Foundation (Help Educate and Rear Orphans) was organized by the late President Corazon Aquino together with her former Defense Secretary Gen. Angelo Reyes back in 1988. As her way of thanking the soldiers for sacrificing their lives for our nation, she thought of putting up this group made of businessmen and politicians who have seen the AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) as pillar in keeping the country's peace and security. Among the top businessmen who supports the group is Don Jaime Zobel de Ayala, Henry Sy, Sr., Washington SyCip, Patricio Lim, and Raul Concepcion. ...
