Zoocobia Fun Zoo: Bringing a Sense of Harmony with Man and Nature

We arrived as a team of bloggers with one companion each. I brought along my son with me who's at first timer at Zoocobia Fun Zoo in Clark, Pampanga. This will be my second time at Zoocobia but still I hunger for more fun, adventure, and knowledge that it can share with us.

But before we headed to the real thing, we had our lunch first and were given sometime to relax and rest before we proceeded to the tour prepared for us.

After our sumptuous lunch, my son asked me if we can make a quick trip inside the Animal Bone and Skin Museum. He was so curious to see what's inside,so I accompanied him.

From the name itself, you could guess what the museum houses. Yes, they have an array of  preserved animals' skin and bones and all I can say is it's really informative. I bet the kids will be in awe when they see this just like what my son felt.

Finally, we were gathered by our tour guide near the entrance as the tour was about to begin.  Our first stop was the cage for the smallest parrot in the world and they are the parakeets or lovebirds. We had a chance to feed them on our own hands. And oh my! It felt ticklish when they started to peck the food on our palm. So cute!

Second stop: The Bids Paradise. It featured birds that can be found in our country. Some of them endemic, some are still in multitude. Whatever their numbers would be what's most important is that we should learn how to give them respect and value for they play a big role in our ecosystem.

Outside the Birds Paradise were animals like the Bearcat or Musang, the largest Burmese Phyton in the country, Iguana, and the Ostriches.

Showcasing the animals in their most beautiful condition lets us appreciate them and make us think twice not to abuse them and take them out of their natural habitat.

There was also the Barn. All the animals inside were domesticated. They came from different countries like the US, Middle east and Europe. But there's one particular animal that is from the wild and that is the Spotted Deer. Here you can feed the animals too for a fee of 20 pesos.

You can also bottle feed these cute goats until they get full, but it seems they never do LOL.

And for the kids and the kids at heart, there's something for you to enjoy too. There's the giant slide, horseback riding, and the art corner.

So, you thought it will all just be sight-seeing, right? Well, all work and no play makes Jack dull.  After the educational tour inside the aviary and zoo, we were led by Ms. Karen and Ms. Evie to the nerve-wrecking  attractions of Zoocobia Fun Zoo. "Whew! This is it!", I said to myself.

First, they brought us to the Zooc Ride that can be found on top of the hill just right outside the Garden Maze. I let my son try it. He had a blast driving the thing. Likewise, I had fun too. The Zooc Ride has three heart-stomping loops, tracks  that goes down the hill, and the car is geared with safety gadgets so you never have to worry if you have a kid above seven years old who would like to try it.  It is absolutely Zooper thrilling and exciting!

Finally, we tried the newest attraction at Zoocobia along with the Clark Zilla 4x4 Zooperb Ride. The park has put up a Zip line and Zing-a-ride too for the adventurers at heart. There was adrenaline rush when we got to ride their 450-meter zip line.  It was really one hell of a ride! I promise you will keep on coming back for more.

Then last but not the least, there was the Carabao ride. We thought that was the most exciting part for all of us. Since most of us in the group was hailed from the city, the thought of riding a Carabao is something new for us. We didn't let go of the chance to ride it. Right after we made a touchdown, the Carabao  brought us all the way back to where the zip line started. The hilly slope and rocky road gave us a short but exhilirating journey we won't forget.

Visiting Zoocobia Fun Zoo for the second time gave me a different perspective about the whole idea of what they would like to address to their guests. They are clearly telling us that nature and man go hand in hand to make our lives better.

Zoocobia Fun Park is definitely a place where you can find adventure at its best. We were educated on how to preserve nature and its inhabitants as well as left with priceless memories that I'll forever cherish.
